Dear Sarah Palin

I’ve already suggested that Sarah Palin needs to go on Keith Olbermann to boost her numbers.

Barring that, she needs to come up with better answers when folks like Katie Couric ask her quesitons like “What’s your foreign policy experience”. Obviously, the Russia answer doesn’t work, because Tina Fey preemptively annulled that one. She really needs to get folksy

“Well Katie, if you’ve ever had five crabs and two lobsters crawling around your mudroom without ‘em killing each other, you know how to handle a crisis.”

or

“If you’ve ever spent 48 hours out on the ice while ice fishing, you can handle a negotiation session with Vladimir Putin.”

Point is, really, Americans love folksy, home-spun wisdom. And when Sarah Palin was first unveiled, I was sure we’d get tons of it. So far though, it’s like she’s afraid to show her western roots. Why though? Us 48staters eat that up! Even media elites like it.

Oh, and I’m sure that Joe Biden is going to slip and accidentally call her “sweetheart” during the bate. I’m sure of it.
