A Bailout For The Media

The idea of a bailout for big media has been joked about a few times, but I’m convinced (55% sure, actually) that we’ll actually see one. Now that newspapers are actually scaling back on printing physical papers (first Detroit, but before too long elsewhere), I suspect that we’ll see public-private partnerships designed to keep printed paper afloat under the guise of bringing media to the poor, who might not otherwise be online.
