More Hiring! Interns and Freelancers

spiers:

So now I have three—possibly four—separate site launches in the pipeline for the next 9 months and need some help with research, prototyping, etc

INTERNS:

So I’m looking for a good intern (or two, perhaps) who wants to learn how the commercial website sausage gets made.  Intern(s) in question will be working on prototypes and doing market research for all sites in development, and assisting the COO of the girly site with infrastructure building activities.  Interns can mostly work from home, but need to be in New York for occasional meetings. 10-20 hours a week and I can pay a small (er, very small) stipend.  On the upside, you’ll get usable clips and I’ll never make you get me coffee.  I can get my own coffee.

FREELANCERS:

I’m also looking for a freelancer or two to do some early morning news aggregation on a daily basis. And I mean EARLY morning.  This is the sort of thing that would need to be published by 7 AM or so, and it would also go out as an email newsletter.  This is a good gig for someone who already has a job, is naturally an early bird, and would just like to make some extra money on top of what they’re already doing. It’s also hard to find people who can digest a broad swath of material and usefully pick the handful of stories that really matter, even if they’re not officially front page news. So if you’re a news junkie already, it helps.

Resumes and cover letters for either position should go to espiers AT gmail . Paste text into the body of the email. No attachments, please.

Let’s just call it: Destruction over, time for the Creative part.
